Groups
in Minneapolis and across Minnesota

You don't have to do this alone.
Sometimes the most powerful support comes from being in a space with others who just get it. Our groups are grounded in holistic, anti-oppressive care - meaning we see and honor the whole of who you are, and believe that your identities, experiences, and the systems around you all shape your mental and emotional wellbeing.
What groups can provide you
Groups can be a great addition to your support system, or a meaningful starting point on their own. Depending on the group, you might find a connection with others who share your experiences, practical tools you can actually use, a deeper understanding of how your mind and body work together, or simply a space where you feel less alone.
We approach groups the same way we approach all of our care - with curiosity, respect, and a commitment to meeting you where you are. Your healing doesn't have to look like anyone else's, and our groups reflect that.
Some people find that groups complement their individual therapy well. Others find that groups are exactly what they need on their own. Both are completely valid.
Types of groups we offer
Therapy groups
A therapeutic space for deeper exploration and healing, facilitated by a licensed therapist.
Psychoeducation
Discover mental health in a friendly, holistic manner. Knowledge itself can be a form of healing.
Support groups
A space to share, listen, and be heard by others navigating similar experience.
Skills workshops
Workshop-style sessions with practical tools rooted in a whole-person approach to wellbeing.
Care That's More Financially and Emotionally Accessible
We believe that access to affirming, holistic mental health support shouldn't depend on your income or your insurance plan. Groups are typically more affordable than individual therapy, and most of our offerings are self-pay, which also means your participation stays private and off your insurance records.
Lower Cost
Group rates are more affordable than individual therapy - the same quality of holistic affirming care at a more accessible price.
No diagnosis needed
For our psychoeducation, support groups, and skills workshops, there's no diagnostic assessment required and we do not bill insurance.
Self-pay only
Most of our groups are self-pay. No insurance involvement means fewer barriers, more privacy, and care on your own terms.
You do not need a mental health diagnosis, referral, or prior therapy experience to join most of our groups. We simply ask that you show up as you are - that's always enough.
Feeling a little nervous? That makes complete sense.
It's really common and completely understandable to feel hesitant about joining a group. New spaces can bring up a lot of questions, especially when it comes to something as personal as your mental health and well-being.
We want to help answer those questions before you ever commit to anything.
You don't have to share anything you're not ready to share.
You're always welcome to listen and observe, especially at the start.
Each group description will tell you about the format, who it's for, what to expect, and how sessions are typically structured.
You're always welcome to reach out to us before signing up. Ask questions, share concerns, or just get a feel for whether a group feels like the right fit for you.
Groups may include a brief conversation with the facilitator beforehand.
A low-pressure chance for you to ask questions and see how it feels.
Each group listing includes clear details about how to register and what, if anything, is needed before the first session.
An anti-oppressive approach means we're committed to creating spaces that are genuinely safe, inclusive, and responsive to your needs. Not just in words, but in how we show up.
If you have questions about whether a group is the right fit, please contact us.
