This 6-week support and psychoeducation group offers a safe, inclusive environment for neurodivergent adults to explore relationship dynamics, develop practical skills, and receive peer support. Participants will gain tools for building, maintaining, and even ending relationships with confidence and authenticity.
Who Is This Group For?
In this group, you’ll explore:
Neurodivergent adults aged 18-22 who identify as autistic, ADHD, or experience sensory processing differences.
Individuals seeking support and practical tools for navigating a wide range of relationships, whether it’s friendships, romantic partnerships, or family dynamics.
Those who want to learn new communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, and how to advocate for themselves in their relationships.
Who Is This Group Not For?
Individuals living outside of Minnesota (due to licensure restrictions).
Those experiencing acute mental health crises and requiring more intensive, one-on-one therapeutic support.
Participants looking for guidance on dating or romantic relationships only—this group covers a range of interpersonal relationships.
Individuals seeking a neurotypical perspective on relationships, as this group centers around neurodivergent experiences.
Those not ready to engage in a group setting or preferring individual therapy.
What to Expect in this support group for neurodivergent adults:
In this 6-week program, you can expect to dive into the unique relationship challenges faced by neurodivergent adults in a support group setting. Every 60-minute session will be filled with a combination of guided discussions, role-playing activities, and peer support, all aimed at fostering communication and conflict resolution skills.
Through sharing experiences with like-minded peers, you’ll develop new tools to help navigate the complexities of initiating, maintaining, and ending relationships. Expect to leave each session with practical strategies for healthy relationships, confidence in your communication skills, and a better understanding of your interpersonal needs.
