holistic therapist

Her approach is rooted in a holistic, person-centered, and strengths-based perspective. She believes in empowering individuals at all stages of life, and welcomes clients from diverse identities and backgrounds. Creating a safe and inclusive space for healing is a priority for her, as she strongly believes it enhances the overall quality of life.

Approach to Therapy

Julia shares that in her practice she employs an eclectic theoretical orientation, drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, systems, and humanistic approaches. She tailors therapy to the unique needs and goals of each client, fostering personal growth and positive change.

I believe we all deserve healing. Whether there is processing needed for the past, or the present, I want to provide a space where you feel comfortable and safe to be human, with all of your emotions and experiences.

Self-care as a therapist

In her free time, Julia enjoys hiking, visiting new places, playing guitar and spending time with her loved ones. She also enjoys trying new hobbies and crafts each year!

Holistic therapist accepting new clients

Julia loves working with individuals with their identity, sense of self, and interpersonal relationships.

Do you ever struggle with maintaining a sense of self or identity within relationships? Do you find it difficult to listen to your own emotions and needs?

Do you often find yourself working on others' needs or desires to avoid conflict in work and personal relationships? Have you noticed a pattern of feeling overwhelmed or distressed in your relationships due to a fear of rejection or abandonment? Have you ever felt like an outsider or experienced difficulties in integrating into social or cultural groups, especially as an immigrant or someone with a different cultural background?

Julia offers both in-person and telehealth (virtual) therapy services. She has openings for new clients. Book an initial consultation appointment to talk with the team about working with Julia.

We respectfully acknowledge that our business is located on the traditional, ancestral, and contemporary lands of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ people, particularly the Wahpekute Band. We honor their enduring relationship with the land and pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We recognize that this land acknowledgment is just a first step in addressing the history of colonization and its lasting impacts on Indigenous communities. As part of our commitment, we will be donating 1% of any profits from the previous year to the Native Governance Center, an organization dedicated to strengthening Native leadership and supporting Native self-governance. This donation will be made by May 1st each year. We strive to support Indigenous sovereignty, equity, and community efforts in meaningful ways.
