My work focuses on helping individuals address anxiety, trauma (racial, relational, adoption), body image, and disordered eating concerns. My mission is to offer collaborative mental health care focused on empowering people to uncover their unique paths toward healing by providing culturally responsive holistic mental health care. This is rooted in a trauma informed, culturally responsive, social justice lens and integrates concepts from EMDR, neurophysiology, interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness, ego state, and attachment theory. My approach looks at the whole person and the systems (e.g. family, community, society, education, work, etc.) that support and oppress individuals while examining the impact trauma has on the presenting concerns that brings you to seek out therapy. I seek to create an inclusive space in-person, online, and in my communication with you.

No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimates

Good Faith Estimates (GFE) are part of federal regulations that went into effect January 1, 2022 as part of the No Surprises Act aimed at protecting consumers from surprise medical bills for services/items provided by out-of-network providers/facilities by ensuring they are made aware of the estimated costs associated with seeing an out-of-network provider. A notification of the GFE will be provided to you as part of intake paperwork. This will also be discussed with you at your initial consultation appointment, and before any services are scheduled.
